Quit Yer Bitchin'

I'm back, much as I didn't want to return, and have come back to a deluge! The Mid-Atlantic is socked in with rain, Washington, DC has been inundated. Unfortunately, the current male resident of the White House survived the flood and the tree which landed on the building's step. Dang. It's apparently been raining for several days and is expected to rain every day in the coming week. You happy now, Penny? ; )

I don't want to hear any more whining from you folks about my trip! The British pound is at 4:1 with the Barbados dollar so it would have been a cheap trick for any of you Brits to meet me up down there. They even speak your language!

Seriously, wouldn't it be grand to rent a villa on the beach...I know the perfect one and have pictures...and have a BAGs blast in Barbados? If we all went in on the villa together (it will sleep at least 8...I have dibs on the master suite with the attached balcony!) that cost would be nominal. I now know of places for really wonderful, inexpensive Bajan food and have made some friends among the local people in Payne's Bay.

If anybody's up for it, I'd love to go back, especially with a group of women (okay, and a guy or two) I could just have a blast with! Maybe we should start planning for next year...

My can we Tell Cher's away

It's so quiet on here! Must be cause Cher's away! And she didn't take any of us with her hurumph! Don't know about the rest of you I'm majorly jealous! Not fair.

Today (tuesday) is the only day I have to work this week! Yep still no work in the office, thank god I'm still getting paid though!

Yesterday I headed off to Wakehurst Place, which is part of Kew Gardens and holds the Millenium Seed Bank, so I've been using my time off constructively and trying to educate myself in the storing of seeds... my that sounds so inspiring NOT!

Got a busy weekend arranged, my buddies from Scotland are coming down, on Friday to stay at my house, but I'm not going to be the hostest with the mostest, cause on Saturday I'm off to Eastbourne Tennis and on Sunday I'm off to a 40th B'day party!

Just so you all know the sun is out in England. OMG it is such a novelty and so I shall be enjoying it for some time. Hence why my updates on here and on my own blog will be somewhat lacking! Sorry... No doubt as soon as the rain comes or I get sunburnt (yes I will use suncream) I'll be back.

Did Someone Drop Something?

I have been a very busy little chicken. I have barely been keeping my own blog up to date! How Kelly and Cheryl manage 3 blogs is beyond me. I have been wasting unspeakable amounts of time here and I have also been here doing fantastic daily jigsaws to keep me amused. I have also just finished reading these awesome books that I am unable to find a link to so tough luck! And I have been celebrating birthdays, getting used to Justin being home again (for about 3 weeks) and generally trying to keep busy so I don't turn into a complete fucking lunatic! Not that, that is far off anyway :)

Brendan at Two Weeks

This is Brendan a month or so ago. It took my threatening to come back out to visit to prod Michael to post some more videos! ; )



Being the grand-mother and BAG I am, I direct you to watch the video again (or fast forward/rewind) and pay peculiar attention to Brendan's left hand at around 1:31 in the clip. Not that I intend that for any member of this group, unless she so desired or he begged me real pretty-like! ROFLMSAO!
